I just go a ek hb as payment for painting another one for someone. the car was in an accident a year ago. I just got finished with all the paint and repairs. The car hasnt been driven in a year. I filled up the tank with fresh gas and some injector cleaner. But motor pulsates (revs go uo and down some times slowly, sometimes quickly) i'm not sure if the distributor is bad or the ecu has to reprogram itself after not being driven for so long.

How much coolant is in there? If there is a good amount of coolant then that isn't the problem. If you want to try to reset the ecu all you have to do is unplug the battery for about thirty minutes-if that doesn't work then have either yourself or a licensed shop check to see if your timing is okay by doing this they can tell if the distributor is bad or not. Good luck!
