Ok so I have a decision to make...
I have a friend who can replace my head gaskets for me for MUCH cheaper than a mechanic...He's asking for about 200 when my mechanic is asking for about 1000+....
I also need to pay for my airbag to be replaced which will cost up to 1600...
The only other thing wrong with my car (at this moment) is that I need to replace my rear calipers with calipers from a newer car...
At first, I was going to just save up money over the summer and buy a new car at the end of it...But now that I can save money for my head gaskets, I'm thinking of just keeping it and fixing it up.
I'll only be able to save up about 2000 for a new car over the summer and I don't know what I would be getting for that much...I would probably have to put more money into it to get it on the road...
With my car, I already know what's wrong with it and what needs to be done. Should I just keep my car and fix it?....Or should I just junk it and get a new one for about 2000-3000?
Please help! :sunglasse

It's really up to you, but it sounds like you aren't to happy with yours, so you might want to take it up and see if you can do a trade in. Everybody is always looking for your parts. They'll junk your car but you might be able to get about 1500-2000 for the car. Add that to what you save and you've got the chance of getting a better car. If you fix yours up to regular driving condition, you might drive it for another year or two and save up even more money.
