i currently have these speakers:
Sony speakers (http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/86767/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do#tabs)
and have this player:
Panasonice player (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Panasonic-In-Dash-CD-Player-CQ-C1121U-/sem/rpsm/oid/116758/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do)
whenever i put it load and theres heavy bass the treble sounds horrible... notice it happens wen the bass kicks in( listen to hip-hop). was wonderin if this is happenin because it needs more power(install a amp) or is always goin to sounds like that?

it's a combo of things ..... the built-in amp is not that powerful, so it's stra9ning when you turn it up - the clipping is what's causing the high end noise. The regualr speakers are not really capable of loud, low bass - so they are distorting badly trying to keep up.
