GM Employee Discount Incentive

Looking to get more information about this incentive. I'm thinking of buying a GM vehicle because of it.
Does anyone have first hand experience with it?
How is it applied to the price of the vehicle? If it's included in the haggle price, then I see no real benefit to it. I could haggle a dealership down to a percentive above dealership cost.
It wouldn't be logical for the dealership to apply the discount so that the cost to the customer is less than the cost to the dealership, but is that the benefit of this incentive?
Thanks in advance for any info or advice.
