Power window no working properly

I have a 1997 Z28 and the driver side power window will only go down or up several inches at a time. Then you have to wait several minutes to go up or down again. My thought was maqybe the switch was corroded or something. The passenger side works well. Anyone know the fix??? Thanks, Ron

mine does the same thing, the motor is going bad. you can buy the motors all over ebay for cheap.
