Could you put this Monster engine in a 4th gen? I know mounting points would have to be changed but what kind of rear end would i need? i know a ford 9'' rear end will do but i want to try to keep everything GM if possible, also any 6spd trannys that could handle the stock 620 horses? i know the engine is expensive and if i do deside to put one in, i know i will have it modifyed to get the most out of it but still keeping it street legal

its gonna be a shoehorn job for sure. The engine bay on the fourth gen camaros and firebirds are very very tight, but im sure it could be done. there will be many many fabrication jobs associated with this. For a transmission youll want a viper spec T56 which should handle the power. for a rear end a proporly built GM 12 bolt should handle it no problem, Or you can get a Dana 44 or similar rear end.

are there any web sites i could goto to check these out? also i have this theory with the gear ratio, like if you have 4:11 and a lil taller then average tranny gears wouldnt this make a desent combo of overall top speed and acceleration?

if you are talking about using the T56 with a set of 4.11 gears i have heard that they live well together as a balance of acceleration and cruising. but when you are in overdrive gears you have to remember that your engine has to work alot harder to put the power down. so for maximum top end, you will have to stay in 5th gear rather that shifting into 6th.

ok, its gonna be a shoehorn job, but i was thinking about maybe a twinturbo set up with EFI, a really really big ass turbo and a mid size turbo i guess, but if you do a tt would you need 2 intercoolers? how big would be to big?
(planning everything) so i can save the cash then dump it all at once so i wont have to worry about shit.
was thinking about a manual fuel controller so i can set it to how much fuel goes in same thing for bost so i can turn it low and run nice and not burn all the gas to fast then crank it up and kill anything
EDIT: Btw incase you havent guessed im going for a sleeper, i know the waste gate will give it away but by that time it will be to late dude will already be burned

With a 572 you won't need anything else my friend. 572 and cutouts and a nice, big, clear intake..... and some N20, you'll besmoking cars from 300 miles away.

Yeah I think so. Only illegal to use though, you can have it just fine (I think, don't qoute me on that).
But even without it, you should be putting down over 500 RWHP on the engine alone.

lol! ur gonna put a 572 in a 4th gen camaro but ur worried about whether or not nitrous is legal to use. im wonderin if u really know wuts involved in doin somethin like this. theres really not gonna be much 4th gen camaro left in it by the time ur done. dont get me wrong, its killer, do it please. when u get right down to it its almost wrong to not run a big block if ur gonna build a beast of a car. (and thats not an F22 in his sig, its a B1 bomber. sorry to be a wiseguy, i had to say that)

or is it a B2? man i had to open my mouth. crap. anyways its not an F22 lol.

it would be a B-2 stealth bomber, He used to have an F-22 when I posted that. the B-1 has 4 F-15 engines in it with swept back wings (that can sweep forward also for slower speeds) The fighter in his sig is hard to make out but it's either a F-15 or 16? I'm leaning towards the 15. Maybe.

The other plane is a B-1B bomber with it's wings swept back, I'm almost positive because of the tail section. The front and center plane is the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber.
If I am wrong about the B-1 it can only be an F-14 Tomcat with wings swept back or an F-15. The F-16 has a disinctive under-slung single intake that is quite visible in it's silhouette. But, I do not think it's a fighter because it looks like it has a single tail, the F-14 and F-15 have doubles.
I could be wrong though, I'm rusty.

There's no way that's a B-1. You can't see the tail section that clearly that's the problem. But it's definately not a B-1, the nose is a LOT longer than that. it could be an F-14 but I'm sticking with the Eagle. ur right tho it's not a Falcon

Okay, I HAD an F/A-22 in my sig but then I changed it to a different one. This one has a B2 Stealth bomber, on the right side (it's pretty small) there is an F-14 Tomcat, and on the bottom left is my Camaro. Hope this arugment is done, and thanks for bringing it to my attention, Viper.

nitrous is illegal on the street if the bottle is armed. but they sell remote arming switches that actually open and close the bottle valve from the driver seat :) but to have the system onbord is not illegal.
as far as the turbo system you are talking about, modern turbochargers have advanced to the point where you no longer need two turbos to counter the lag they are known for. with a propor setup including a wastegate and blowoff valve, a single turbo will do just fine, with near zero lag.
