Running about 7-8 psi, how much HP/Torque would a GReddyTurbocharger push? I have a 1997 GSR, my engine has no internal work at all, I just want to see how much gain i can get out of a greddy turbo before i actually buy one.
Also, what can be done to my motor and the turbo to make the turbo at its peak performance?

I have installed many turbo systems on honda motors. The greddy turbo system is a good basic system. I have on 1 on my 2000 SI. I bought it not thinking ahead. When i got it, i kept it at the preset 8 lbs of boost. Then I got bored with it and had the motor built to 8.7:1 compression using a knife edged crank and forged rods. Now the car is reliable at 17 lbs of boost as a daily driver. Which Dyno ed in at 483 wheel HP. The Motor is capable of holding about 22LBS of boost on pump gas and up to about 30LBS on race fuel. But My problem is that The greddy turbo 18G turbo is only capable of 18 pounds of boost. Greddy does not make a 30LB turbo that will fit my manifold and down pipe. I now have to redo most of my system.
I recomend to you going with the Drag Turbo Generation 3 for your motor. The turbo is a t03/04 which is capable of about 25LBS of boost. It comes with the intercooler, blow off valve, external wastegate, and Boost dependent fuel pressure regulator, which the basic greddy kit does not have. It also can be found for $3200 at Importparts.com. After the intercooler, the greddy kit is almost $4000 with out a blowoff valve.
To make this kit perform almost 100% reliable at 8-10 psi of boost, all you have to do is add an upgraded fuel filter, fuel rail and injectors. I installed a DRAG turbo on a 2000 integra type R with a rail, filter, injectors. It dyno ed in at 307HP and 273lbs of torque at the wheels at 10 lbs of boost. Later he added an AEM engine management (which i strongly recomend) which made his motor even more reliable.
