Intercooler Question

Hey, I was browsing through some intercooler kit set-ups and saw that most in my price range have an inlet on the leftside and an outlet on the rightside. I was wondering if the outlet on the rightside would still meet up to my factory piping as well...Will the factory turbo outlet pipe just bend and connect to this pipe or will modification be required?
