What is the difference between the Navy and Electron Blue

I just got a copy of car and driver and it has a electron blue Z06 what is the difference between this new color and Navy Blue? By the picture Electron Blue looks like Navy Blue.

Is it just me or does it it seem like they get rid of a color evry year. Last year they ditched Nassau Blue, This year they are going to ditch Dk Green and Navy Blue. I hope they dont do what Dodge is doing with the Viper by offering only three colors.

Electron blue is actually a metallic blue that has a sharper contrast to it then navy blue, which is darker. So in the daylight, it looks really blue, so to speak.:)

DVSNCYNIKL is right the electron blue is a metallic blue which is actually a little lighter than the navy blue. And in the sun it looks even lighter...my favorite color
