My new custom CF fenders....

Thanks...a friend referred a friend who does custom cf fabrications on the side in Modesto, Ca...It took him over 3 months to finish :screwy: Anyway, they look great except he didn't finish all the mounting points so I had to spend an extra $150 just to get them mounted... I also added a 6 pt roll cage by DTR (Hayward) to minimize body flex. I've been really busy modding the car for AutoX but I'll take more pics and repost.

*Notice the new signature (226whp)...dropped the new motor too last month...still need a bigger tb and intake manifold...and hopefully put out another 20whp...All Motor 250whp, here I come! :smokin:

I know...after I installed the roll cage and sold my 2 sets of rims, I mainly trailer the car to races. I need to get another wheelset so I can use it on the street once in a while...

I just bought a WRX though as a commuter and been dropping $$ on it too...new rims, suspension, stereo etc...

On a side note: Anyone here interested in purchasing or refinancing their homes? I'm a licensed mortgage consultant in Calif...I give referrals too ($500 minimum)

ic...I paid $500 for these but I know that carbon fiber fenders are readily available on the internet for $350..but oem style.

I can't keep my eyes off of the wheels. Where did you get those and how much were they? :O

Work Meister S1 wheels...15x8.5 front, 15x7 rear. Paid $1850 shipped from Japan. Custom offset so I had to wait over a month.

i know my stock aluminum fenders are REALLY light.

It depends on what kind you're getting...I know mine is considerably lighter. In fact, that's one of the reason it was difficult to install. My primary purpose for the fender change was to fit a wider wheel. Cutting the stock fenders and covering it with a flare was good enough for me but a friend offered to make me one made of CF so I went for it. I guess if you're doing it to save weight, every ounce count...

All i got to say is your ride is nice, i autox my 90 hatch but mine doesnt look half that good destroyin cones. :)
