well, carb spacers have been proven to offer hp gains, but they cost alot more than that. I would email the seller and ask for dyno graphs as evidence, my general rule of thumb is if the person claims hp gains, but cant back it up with dyno graphs, they are full of BS.

if your talking about getting injector spacer and tb spacer ud better be sure first all your fuel lines and other hoses will still fit properly

YES THEY DO WORK I HAVE ONE ON MY CAPRICE, sry caps was on, they do work and you can notice a small difference, they are worth the money, same goes with the tb spacers, i also have one on my caprice

They have these things called V8 swaps that are excellent for increasing the performance of your 2.8.

but to be serious, since you don't have the new motor in yet, I think, you could port and polish the heads and intake, put a better cam in it. There may be a way to bore/stroke it to 3.1. Shift kit would be something to look into. 3.42 gears with Limited Slip. Forged crank, rods, and pistons. with that kinda buildup you should be able to run a decent sized nitrous shot. Other than that, V8 swap.

edelbrock makes a lower intake for 60degree chevy v6's. i would call them first to make sure it will work.
