Hey guys my friend was looking into buying a tib and he cant find many used 6spds, mostly just autos and 5spds. Anyways, I was wondering what the biggest differences are between the two? Stuff like acceleration, mpg, top speed, durability....
Thank!

With a 6 sp you will be shifting more cause the gears ratios are closer. i think it would also wear your clutch faster.

6spd's had some early issues with the clutch. I believe that most are resolved. 6spds are nice, but I have notived that the more power adders you put on it, the shorter and shorter 1st gear becomes. Alot of guys have found it utterly useless after big upgrades like S/C's etc. A couple good things about the 6 spd is there are LSD's available for it, it is manufactured by Nissan, and it increases the resale value of the car.
