stalling

have recently purchased a 1991 Olds Cutlas Supreme. With in the last few day's the car will stall while driving on the freeway, we have replaced the ingition module, computer module and the fuel pump and filter and still stalls if any one has an idea or suggestion it will be greatly apperciated.

Mine's done that before (a year or so ago) and replacing the throttle/fuel controller thingy(white plastic that rotates as you give gas) seemed to fix it then. it just did it again today and "coasted" into olds dealer. they won't get to look at it until monday, but will let you know what they come up with.

I would also clean out my throttle body if I were you. You'd be suprised how much gunk can get in there

I too am having problems it seems when it's colder it seems to stumble on itself. I think I may have a vaccum leak or something also. I cleaned as much of the throttle body as I could.. I don't know how to get all of that out. But not trying to hijack the thread, but any more suggestions?

dont know if this will help but normally back when i was younger ...ie driving 70's & 80's if it stalled like that it was the coil or the distributor cap got wet.

Yeha you might want to try the coil packs guys my old ladys stepdad had 2 bad and would stall his car plus they would cause misfires o.
