Need help with oil pressure

If any of you have a aftermarket oil pressure gauge on your 2004 Cav. could you please let me know the pressure. I just got mine hooked up yesterday and when it's cold it reads 100 pds. Warmed up and on idle it reads about 85. I believe this is to high. I really hope it's not the gauge cause it was a bitch to put in. Do you think it can be the oil pressure sending unit? The gauge is eletrical. I e-mailed the company from where I bought the gauge from. He said they never had a problem with any oil pressure gauge they sold. So I dought it is that. I'm not sure which way to turn. I can't stand having this problem. If any of you had this problem, let me know if I can fix it. Thanks
