Am enjoying my WRX but looking for nice sounding exhaust - not too loud - but classy - performance increase second priority but important.

Am considering Tanabe?? Any thoughts/ideas???

The GReddy exhaust has a really nice sound not too loud at normal RPM but nice and throaty when you hit higher RPM's

Loving my WRX too. I splurged for ground effects. Thought the look could use just a little extra touch. And already very quick car right out of the showroom. But now I am wanting the exhaust. For me, its the whole exhaust (including up-pipe) or nothing. Anyone know how much horsepower boost is obtianed by upgrading the exhaust like this. What if you added a boost controller w/unichip computer and fuel cut defender? Then how much??? got to be fairly significant. I found whole upgrade kit w/performance exhaust from the turbo back, up-pipe replacement, unichip, boost controller, fuel cut defender, and turbo-timer for $2100. i'm thinking that's quite a deal. just matter of time before i can save up the $$$$ to get it. MmmmmmmMmmm, can't wait! She'll be lightning quick and look bad-azzz. gotta have it. You all think that's a good deal??? I have little experience suping up cars.
