I am looking into trading my 94 pearl yellow automatic SL to a dealer who has a 91 red vr4 in great shape. He wants 4900 bucks for it the vr4. It has 140, 000 miles which is something i am REALLY worried abuot. If those turbos and engien havent been replaced yet they will go soon. Should I trade him my SL with no tranny at the moment straight up for this vr4 or should i keep my car ? My car is 100% perfect condition

I would be weary about the 140k on the car. If it were me, I'd just look for a lower mileage one.

Well yeah. Over 100k on those babies could mean trouble but find out if the dealer has had anything done to the engine. Epecially the 100k mile tune up.

Low mileage, cheap auto tranny....says 6G74 which is the 3.5L Montero engine, but I think it's just a typo since the ad is for 3000Gt/Stealth....either way I think the tranny bolts up for both.

No problem, i'd email him and ask about the 6G74 thing, also for the tranny code which can be read right off of it. Should be F4A33 if it's the right one. I can't tell from the pics, it looks right, but I don't remember exactly what the auto tranny looks like.
