Why do some of the 2000 & newer SE's have the GT's front Fascia? whats the difference in the SE & GT

The only thing I can find, in print is that there is no "thru to trunk". But I also think Ripn is right. 3800 wasn't on that list either.
And there is a recall on the SE

Some of the typical things that make vehicles a different model type (i.e. SE vs. GT or LS vs. LT) are interior trim (leather/cloth), audio system, suspension, rims (vs. hub caps), sunroof, etc. I don't know a whole lot about Grand Prixs (not really my flavor) but I'm guesing the "SE" stands for Standard Edition and "GT" stands for Grand Touring. So the "SE" would be like an "LS" (Luxury Standard) on Chevrolet SUVs and the "GT" would be like the "LT" version. Just my guess

Wondering, 90210 is CA. You list home as Florida.

I got rid of my STS because it cost a ton to keep it going. Went to GP's. Easier on the pocket.
