Ever since I put in my vtec controller, I cant hear if the cams are changing or not. I use to hears that sucker start screaming when it turned on, but now I cant really tell??? I notice that the oil pressure goes to 80 psi by like 4,000rpm but I dont know if thats an indication of the cams switching.

first of all take that vtec controller and trash it or sell to some 15 year old with a 4th gen rocking a d15b2
the oil pressure surging up is a good sign the ecu not coding is another. If you really are worried about it you can wire up a light to see vtec engaging.

What do you have VTEC set to? VTEC controllers are garbage! Honda designed VTEC to kick in at the right time to allow the best powerband possible. So don't say that where you have it set at is better.
