2 dash recievers?

is it possible to have a cd player in one space and a mindisc player in another? both of them can be plugged into the speakers right?
OH would it be worth it to get the pioneer deq-7400(equalizer) if u already have a pioneer p9300(pretty much their best cd player)

yes im sure a mini disc player would fit considering a dvd player fits along with my alpine deck.
