I am very close to re-assembling a 93 Dodge Shadow Es (six cylinder). heads were warped and i got them milled and what not, but due to coolant burning and setting in the cylinders, they need cleaned up before i put it together. how can i accomplish cleaning off this "residue" on the walls off cylnder and top of piston before she gets put back together? thanks in advance

Use a hone and motor for the cylinder walls.

if the engine is still in the vehicle, you won't be able to hone the cylinders, only way you'll be able to do that, (if I understood your question right) is removing the rest of the engine out and rebuilding the entire unit.
