I was wondering if i where to pick up two (2) breather filters, if i could put one on the valve cover, and the other on my intake, or would it be better to cap the inlet on the intake, and only use one breather filter? I'm getting a fmic and piping, and dont want to coat it with oil. maybe a catch can would be better? I want a really clean look. but then again, performance is better then looks, i mean hell, its not like i'm driving a pretty car... Its Beautiful! ~n~ sexy.... thanks guys

This defeats the purpose of keeping the closed loop system entirely, you are missing the point. You need to filter oil out of the closed system. If you didn't connect the two, the filtering is useless and you could just let the oil drip on the ground.

If I'm reading correctly, a filter on the intake? That would allow the motor to pull in a ton of unmetered air, throwing off trims and causing a lean condition at WOT.

so are you telling him to not use the breather filter coming out of the valve cover and he be better off w/o it??

you need to keep the system plugged in. whether you put a filter or catch can in line to stop the oil is your choice. if you plan on filtering without having it plugged in, like he suggested, don't bother.
