3.4l converting from auto to manual trans questsion

I'm thing of using a 1993 camaro 3.4l in on of my projects. It has a flexplate on it for an automatic trans. If I would convert it for a stick trans buy changing the flywheel, do I have to change the harmonic balancer also. Or are these engine internally balanced. Thanks, Cory
