2003 Tahoe- Interior lights and reverse lights won't work

I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe and I am having some electrical problems. Recently I noticed that my interior lights were no longer coming on when I opened the door. The lights lights that are actually in the door still come on but the front and rear dome lights no longer come on when the doors are opend. (I can still turn them on with the switch next to the individual light). At about the same time I noticed that both my reverse lights were not working. I checked the bulbs and the fuses. I'm completely sure these two are related, but as far as I can tell they happend at the same time.
