My g/f is world-reknown for losing her phone, I finally convinced her to keep the ringer on, so I can call it for her to find it. Silly woman.

I have an ultra-bad habit of droping my phone. I would pick it up, and the fucker would just slip right out of my hand :eek7: without fail

I have two phones. I would pick up one of them, and bam, it's on the floor. This happens ALL the time. Bloody annoying.

I've lost my phone a few times because it's on silent. :uhoh:

One of my mates lost his phone on Friday night, after a few drinks, rang it and everything, couldn't find it. He awoke on Tuesday to his alarm going off (which was on the phone) and he found his phone under his pillow. Funny thing is, the alarm would of been going off Monday morning too, but after a fairly big Sunday night, didn't wake up to it.

In his words, "How the fuck it got under the pillow, no one will know".

At least you don't have the problem of always breaking cell phones. My cell I had 2 phones ago i left in my jeans, my mom washed it, then i broke the screen, then i dropped it and it was hanging on by just the wires and i put up with it for a few months till my contract was up. Got a new one last March, had it until May when i went swimming and left it in my pocket. Took me 10 minutes to realize. I'v had my new on for approximately 3 weeks and i've already dropped it and broke the antenna. Who knows what's next.... :banghead:

I have never misplaced or damaged my cell phone in any shape/way/form. The only bad thing that has happened is that my mom accidently left a scratch on the keyboard, which I replaced with a new one in about 2 hours. Mommy was never allowed to touch my cell phone again.

the last phone i had was in my ex's jeep when he decided to drive up a glacial river while we were camping. he sank the jeep and my phone as well. it worked for a while then it started to shut off whenever people would call. spent $180 on a new phone (cheapest they had) because i was still under a contract. grr....

oh and to answer your question: you always lose your phone when it's on silent because of murphy's law. whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. :headshake

Despite the fact that mommy pays for your phone and plan :p

I've never had any sort of problem with any of my cell phones. Guess all the bad stuff is just backing up, and my cell phone will probably explode and kill me or something.

Be more careful with your posessions. I have never lost a phone and never intend to. It has too much of my life on it.

Careful? lol, you see, I bought the insurance for a reason. I'm on my 5th phone in 4 years and have all the info on it backed up. :p

Actually, no. I pay for my own usage, and I get one of those prepaid SIM cards so I'm not on a contract or have a phone plan. Well...that was the past, I don't have a cell phone anymore because I can't use it here (it wasn't triband, I got my phone many years ago.)

Who steals cell phones? seriously. Sorry to hijack.

Saturday when i was working(I deliver pizza) i go inside after i get back from a delivery. All the drivers park in the back lot, which is still right off a busy road and has 2 of the 3 entrances on it. Well its kinda slow so i was inside for maybe 30 minutes. I come outside and notice my radar detector and cell phone gone. Now one of the other drivers and i sometimes just take stuff from one another so i think oh well ill get it when i get back. Well i get back and he says, "give me my cds back. Im kinda confused and tell him i want my cell phone and RD back. We both look at eachother and realize neither of us took the others stuff.

So at like 6pm someone decided to go into my truck and my friends truck and take some shit. Well this kinda confuses me because those are the 2 cheapest things in my truck pretty much. Baseball stuff in the back seat(bat alone worth 300 bucks). But oh well, i was pissed.
