COMPUTER which one?!!!

i took my dash apart and setting horizontally there was a 8*8 inch box aprox. and then there was a box vertically behind it a little that looked almost identical but had diffrent plugs which one is my computer

the vertical one has a lot of corrosion so thats whats causing my problem but what is the other one they both go into the same harness?

Also I'm guessing the other box is your TCU (tranny control unit)
