Alright it's a 95 civic ex with a pioneer deh8600mp. The point is to get the stereo out so I can get to the climate control to put LEDs in. Guy in the DIY says it will just slide right out, which is def not the case. My friend and I removed every screw we see (3) and it doesnt make a difference. There are two more in the back that don't seem to be attached to the head unit, just the bracket (whatever it is). And these last two screws are damn near impossible to get to. I'm a rookie at this so hopefully there is just some simple way to get this cd player out (Best Buy installed it so I can't just do the reverse of putting it in bc I don't know how), thanks for any help. Also if anyone could tell me how you post pictures on here because I'm not very advanced in computers either, I have pictures of what I'm looking at.

Pioneers have little flat pieces of metal that come with the HU's. So if you've lost them, you'll need something thin to work with. You'll need to slide it on both sides of the HU to pop out the deck. I can go outside and take pics if you'd like me to?

Thanks that was incredibly easy. Now do you have any advice on detaching the two plugs connected to the climate control? They are very hard to reach.
