I'm new to this forum. I have 2001 Taurus SE.
The horn is not working. I checked the fuse. It's not broken.
Anyone can give me some advice? Thanks.
Also my engine light is on for several months. I checked the engine. Nothing wrong. I tried to disconnect the "-" electrode of the battery to clear all codes. But it's tooooooo tight!! So I just let it on. Just now I saw in a message that Autozone can clear the codes for free. Does every Autozone have this service?

Before you get the code cleared, I would find out what set it off. Yes, most Autozones, O'reillys, or Advance Auto parts have the code readers. Did the last time the horn work be just before the check engine light came on? If so, the two could be related. Another possibility is the horn itself could be bad. Good luck.

Thanks..
I think they are not related.
Engine light has been on for several months.
The horn was few days ago.
Some other posts refered "clock spring". What's that? Does it have anything to do with my problem?
