What is that? Just wondering.. I have a breather on mine and in a few days it gets completely slopped with oil...

Breather using a fuel filter.

That is normally run into the intake pipe, but then all the oil end up in your turbo, pipes, and IC. To leave it vented like that will negatively affect your fuel trims since unmetered air can be pulled in to the system via the PCV valve. The compromise is to run it back into the intake, but through a catch can (a breather on the catch can will defeat the purpose) to seperate the oil from the air and keep it out of the intake system.

Will that extremely small flow of air really make a big difference in the fuel trims?? As in power wise also.... As stock it is set for it to just be set with a small tube thing hanging off the valve cover..so maybe that IS the way it's supposed to be...??? Here is a picture of my GSX completely stock when I bought it.....
If it's meant to go back into the intake...and since it DOES give off all that oil...then why did they make it like that??

Because they cared more about good emissions than keeping the inside of the IC pipes clean ;) It does let in enough air to seriously alter trims. Keep in mind that the PCV is meant to draw a vacuum on the crankcase to recycle blowby. Since that port is open, it sucks in unmetered air. In the stock configuration it would be pulling in air that has been metered by the MAS, so it all works out. If that line was not connected to the intake when you had it "stock" it was wrong. Check the intake to be sure that port is capped. If that port is left open, you will pull in a lot of unmetered air further bolixing the trims, and at WOT, causing a lean condition, which is bad for obvious reasons.
The best compromise is a 40 dollar catch can that keeps it a closed loop system and seperates the oil out of the air to keep the intake system clean.
