I am not positive as to were the 'Low side fitting' is on the A/C system of a 91 Ford Thunderbird base model. Pictures would be very appreciated also! I looked on TCCOA and didn't find much..

I just want to be sure (obviously). I think I found it by the Fan (to the left) just above the ignition coil, but am not sure. Thanks to everyone in advance.

The low side fitting is the smallest fitting. It is in the line from the compressor that goes to the accumulator/drier (canister shape). The high side fitting is in the line from the compressor that goes to the condenser core (mounted at radiator).

I feel kinda dumb not knowing where all this stufff is :cwm27: I know what most of it does. I found the high side between the radiator and the compressor. Still havent found the low side, will look again tommorow... should I remove my cold air intake?

I don't have a '91 so I can't say where it is located. On my '95 it's just in front of the pass. side top shock mount. On my '97 it's just in front of the firewall. Again, follow the line from the compressor.

I found it :loser: , thanks.... I was converting the fittings to R134.... I discovered the fittings were impossible to fit unless they were right. Thanks to that I succeeded.
