97 sol wont fire up

I'm on my friends account and new to these forums. I was hoping maybe someone could help me. I have a 97 del sol and I just recently blew a fuse while messing around with some wires near the cigarette lighter as I recently installed some electronics in there. I replaced the fuse and now it won't start. It wants to but it just cant seem to fire up. Any ideas? I searched a little but couldnt really find what I needed. Thanks
