Leather, Pleather or Vinyl?

My friend has a '91 Legend LS (I'm pretty sure that's the top of the line, right?), with Leather seats.
Now before I clean her whole car, I was wondering if the seats, are real leather, vinyl, or pleather.
I ask because, most of the time, it is hard to tell what it really is, and your not supposed to use Leather Cleaner's on Vinyl, which it may be. So does anyone know, what Acura used back than?
