This is my first post. I have a 1994 Honda Civic EX Coupe 1.6L with VTEC and a SOHC. I have recently replaced a battery and now the alternator is busted so I bought a new one.
DETAILS:I found three bolts on it. I have already removed two of them and the third (looks like a 6 inch clip) won't budge. I had to jack the car to get to the third one. I have spun with a wrench with my utmost power, but it won't even budge. I even tried heating it, but now the bolt is worn out so much, I can't even grab it.
>>>QUESTION: I was wondering if the third bolt on the alternator(about the size of the alternator-also needed to jack the car to get to it) is really a clip. How do I remove it?
