Valve seal removal

Hey guys got a quick question on the valve seals, i was kinda pulling on the seals to get them off and they dont budge with just my fingers.... Whats the best way to get the valve seals off? just making sure i dont screw anything up so if i could get some quick feedback that would be greatly appreciated.
