94 Dome lights

I have a 94 Explorer The dome lights do not come on when I open any of the doors. I can turn them on manually with the headlight switch. Something is not right. Ant ideas out there?

I would look for a broken wire or loose connection near the dome light. If one switch was bad, that would be the only door that would not turn on the light. So there is a wire or a connection problem. Also check all the fuses. Not sure if you have a courtesy fuse or not. My info only goes to 96. Memory sometimes fails.
