Sup guy's
I have a silver spyder with the top (covertable) black. The top looks really good however, should I need to clean it b'cuz I've never owned a convertable before, what is the correct way to do this that would yield the best possible results?
Thanks

they do sell top cleaner I've never used it though. I usually hit mine with the hose (on a light spray not heavy blasting. It gets most things off it.
However I have wax on mine from the last waxing I did that I can't figure out how to get off. Got a bit of over spray from the minute wax stuff :/

A bristle brush.... elbow grease... wouldn't recommend using any soap... it would probably be quite a bit of washing to get it all out.... just do some light scrubbing....
I do recommend using some High Traffic Scotchguard.... when dry and clean..

Ok thanks.
what about for just quick general wash? In the past I normally used soap to wash my cars, can I use the same to wash the top?

For normal washing I don't use anything different than regular car soap and a sponge/wash mit. They do make convertable top cleaners, but you don't have to do something like that very often.
Note: Make sure your top is dry before you put it down, or it will start to mold. Also, if you have leather interior, make sure you keep it clean and protected. Lexol makes a great cleaner and protectant.
