2000 Silhouette Key Fob Reciever

I've just been told by my dealer that this vehicle needs a new reciever for the key fobs to work. Does anyone know where it's located and where I can get one cheap.

Have you tried reprogramming the transmitter, check the postings here, I remember a link to a site with the procedure.
If that dosen't work check EBay, they have the transmitters and the stores there probably offer the receivers also. Then there is the junk, excuse me auto-dismantler yard.

The receiver is located under the front dash panel. To get to it on my 98TS, I had to remove the two piller trim pieces which hold down the edges (they just pop off easily), then the front dash panel snaps out. The receiver is located on the drivers side attached to the panel you remove.
