B2200 Problem, Please help

hey there, last night I was driving my truck and all of a sudden, it felt as if no gas was going into the engine. Its a standard transmission and 1st gear works fine, but once I put it into second it seems that the gas isn't flowing right or perhaps the gears seem to be slipping? Its almost that feeling when one runs out of gas and the car sort of chu-chunks forward in jolts?

I had the same problem about a year ago and thought it might be the spark grounding out. Check the fuel filter. I pulled mine out and could hardly blow through it. Replaced it and all was fine.

where is the fuel filter and what does it look like.?

Easy problem to identify.

Im going to say it's the Vacuum Senor which is
Mazda's version of a MAP sensor ~ (manifold absolute pressure)

You can easily test and verify by simply removing the vacuum hose and wire's from the switch witch is located on the passenger side fender near the fire wall. It is labeled Vaccum Sensor.

Once you have disconnected the switch restart your truck and see if you notice any difference in performance. Reconnect and connect while motor idles.

Now, If you could please help me with something it would be appreciated.
