2001 Caravan Roof Rack

Has anyone had trouble with their roof rack. Mine made a loud whistling noise when I went over 15 mph. I took it to two different dealers and the only solution they had was to remove the cross bars. It does a lot of good to by a roof rack, if you can't us

mine made all kinds of noise on the highway - wind would hit the horizontal bars & they'd vibrate. I fixed it by sort of jamming them a little bit crossways (so there was no "play" in them) - did the trick.

Making noise @ 15mph is a bit odd - I wouldn't think there's enough wind at that speed to generate any perceptable noise.
