I have a 2001 Venture with a leaking condensor. I think it is leaking from the mounting bracket. Has anybody replaced a condensor, how difficult is it? Does the condensor come out the front W/O removing the bumper cover? If I remove the air intake box with I have the access I need to the lines? The system has had the hole in the condensor for 8 months, do I need to replace the dryer also? I appreciate any helpful instructions, my Chiltons manual does not give any A/C info.
Thanks, Terry

Terry,
Leaking from the lower-left bracket (as viewed from the front)?
I had my condenser replaced back in March. You can see the story at the link(s) below.
A/C Condenser Replaced (http://www.links-to-golf.com/van/air-conditioning-condenser-replaced.html)
There is a TSB (Tech Service Bulletin) on that. If (when) you get it replaced, make sure you get the updated condenser.
See pictures of the leak here (http://www.links-to-golf.com/van/venture-air-conditioning-hose-replaced.html) (middle of the page).
The instructions I had (from the TSB) estimated about 2 hours of labor to replace the condenser, but the (trusted) shop that did the work said 3.5 to 4 hours. I believe them.
The condenser will NOTcome out from the front -- it is bolted on to the radiator. Plus the A/C system has to serviced (vacuum, recharge, etc.) properly, so I would recommend taking it to a reputable shop.
Take Care,
