Rusted Engine

Anyway at all to fix this? Got a car that the bolts and nuts are rusting and certain part of the engine is starting to rust. Will rust removal work on cars and keep it from coming back? Will change the bolts and nuts out but the engine is the trouble part.

You can brush off the rust with a wire brush or wire wheel in a drill. Use phosphoric acid to remove the remainder of the rust then paint the areas. Alternatly you can use stainless steel nuts and bolts that will never rust.
However, engines can rust considerably on the outside and not come to harm, except, sometimes oil pans can rust out after many salty snowy winters.

Yeah I went to a few shops and they said about the same thing. I was just sacred the car might not last.
The rust is sorta bad, eating up almost anything metal. Not cake rust though except on the muffler. I will try to remove other rust and see if it looks better.
