when did being a bitch become cool?

I am seriously wondering where the human race went wrong. It used to be if you were a guy, you were supposed to be manly, you should prove your manliness every chance you get. Now its "cool" for guys to wear nice expensive clothes and spend more time in front of a mirror than a girl.
Hair gel and shit, since when did guys give a flying rats ass about how their hair looked. You wake up, take a shower, give it a quick once over with a brush (maybe 15 seconds worth) then you leave it.
Another thing that caught my attention about how much of bitches guys are becoming nowdays is the "would you hit a girl back?" topic in the philosophy forum. Any guy who says they would deserves to have the shit beat out of them. Another example, I was at this redneck white trash bar that we have around here (only place worth a damn to go to) and out in the parking lot I saw a guy shove the girl he was with down on the ground. After that I heard about 10 or so guys laughing while I was the only person to go over and snatch that fucker by his pony tail and knock the living shit out of him. Why did no other guy who saw what happened do anything? Because somewhere along the way guys have forgotten that physically we are superior to women (some of us anyway). Also due to the urban upbringing of most people, people seem to think that if something happens, its not their problem, someone else will take care of it. Dont be such a little pansy fucker and if you see something that you consider WRONG do somthing about it YOURSELF. Its ok to take charge every once in a while and stand up for yourself.
At the gym I see more anarexic looking guys on the cardio machines than I see guys lifting weights. And half of the guys when they lift they use the machines that dont hardly work your muscles anyway. Since when did becoming skinny and weighing less than the girl your trying to pick up be the way things go?
Manual labor is a manly thing. I was bullshitting with a cashier that works at the same store I do. I was joking around asking if he wanted to throw some stock with us and he said "Ha! You expect me to do physical work?" Right then I wanted to deck the fucker but another nosey ugly fat cahsier was there so I knew I couldnt get away with it. Even though stocking at a grocery store isnt as hardcore as you can get for manual labor, any form of manual labor deserves respect. I dont give a fuck who you are. If you have ever worked laying sod for 8+ hours a day or worked as a roofer during the summer or almost any construction job for any ammount of time you have some respect for people who do manual labor and dont think of them as some fuckoffs who dont do shit.

Im off to finish the rest of the beer I have left and chug down the rest of this vodka, you bunch of pansy ass bitches. Grow some balls. [/rant]

drink that vodka. yeah and all the rest of it too.

I worked for two years doing construction and as a lot attendent at a chevy lot. So I've done some manual labor. BUT, I'm getting a degree in computer science engineering, because i don't want to have to do that stuff the rest of my life.
I'm moving on to jobs where I don't have to do physical labor to get a paycheck. A job that exercises my brain. Not that I'll get fat and lazy. I swim for about a mile everyday(good exercise). Part of the people, you're right about, they are wusses. But, If you think that men are physically superior to all women you've never met my sister or someone like her. My sister is 5'2 not sure about the weight but not much. but she was a gymnist for 12 years and has a black belt with me and she could kick the crap out of me untill I was 17.

BTW I would never hit a girl either.

I know exactally what ya mean man. When i went and hit the local pubs with the guys this weekend we couldnt even get into half of the places. because we didnt meet the fuckin dress code.....It's a PUB for shitsake not a fucking yuppie arse nightclub.
I agree with the manual labour as well....get all these sissy little fucker outta the surf/skate clothing shops and throw them on a construction site or proper mechanics workshop (the ones you got to and the guys working there have a perment all over 5oclock shadow from grease/oil)
On the subject of decking cunts that take there anger out on women. One fuck got a rude awakening on tuesday. Middle of the day, middle of a crowded shopping center and this dude backhands the chick he's with.....the security guards just looked at him as if to say 'uh....what am i ment to do'
I smack the fucker in the face, and i have to spend the next 4 hours talking to the cops on why i hit the dude...and i might have assult charges placed against me.
Ive hi-jack you thread enough with my own ranting. so im out.

there's this wonderful thing in the world called context; it helps make sense of things.

there's a big fat man of a woman, drunk as hell and feels like beating up the closest wussy boy she can find.
she picks you.
would you hit her?

there's a little fawn of a schoolgirl who's late home from a class meeting and her dad is mighty pissed off and doesn't believe a word she says.

context, people.
it stops you from looking/sounding like stupid ignorant fools.

there's also the point of how extreme you go.
crazy ass bith trying to claw your eyes out?
break her nose?
give her a slap?
grab her wrists?
put her in a small circle wrist wrap lock?

same crazy ass woman keeps coming back and this time she's picked up something solid to dent your head with.
stand there and take it like a man?

that's why there's the whole thing about reasonable force.
doesn't matter what the situation is, you're allowed to use reasonable force.

yeah, what the FUCK?!

guys with pink shirts, 'perfecting' your hair, getting perms, hitting girls, god no a guy can't sweat! drinking bacardi raz, dress codes at bars, singles bars... I had a pack of my friends go down tot he local gay bar. Not one of them ways gay. When I asked them why the fuck they would go to a gay bar they said cuz it was cool. I guess it's the thing to do now 'round heah! shaved chests with accented features. It's just a blur between genders, that's all. I didn't really notice it as much until my old philosophy teacher pointed it out and referenced the BOD commercials. Y'all know: I want your bod... Look at that and the guys that are supposed to be sexy look more like girls. It's crazy.

Fasion, how you look, and the National Identity have all been a major part of society expecially the middle-upper class for hundreds of years. This isn't a "new revolution".

I agree with the rest of your argument but I'm skeptical; you seriously went over and told some guy in front of 15 of his mates to back off?

And to the rest of this thread, I like a guy who takes care of himself and his appearance although my bf is nothing like that. He's a roofer who sits around in his work clothes that are ripped to pieces with messy hair and he won't shave his face, but I don't really care.

now, now, it's not 'taking care of yourself'. I mean, I've got long, curly hair down to my chin, I take care of it. I take showers! I just don't like to alone. But I don't priss and fuss and wear pink. I hate to sound like an ignorant over-compensating burly man but there's just certain things guys shouldn't really do, according to our current culture and deepy rooted ancestory.

I mean, since the dawn of freaking time guys haven't acted like girls, and had no desire to whatsoever. Gender seperation may directly or indirectly lead to unnecessary, uninvited dominance and unfair segregation and sexism, but there is a difference between genders; physically, biologically, chemically, mentally... Every other culture, every ancestor we've ever had has recognized the seperation between genders, in one form or another. Suddenly we're doing this New Generation thing, like the 80's, 90's, etc... where the line's blurred. Our kids are going to look back on us and, just like we saw the Hippies in the 70's, they're going to see a Metrosexuality fad. I don't understand my generation.

I run and play soccer and i dont lift weights in the gym so im not manly? and as to the hitting a woman thing, its context. I have several friends who if they decided to would beat your ass. It took 4 of us to pull one girl off this dude. if you wanna go lift weights and be big fine, dont hate on people that have a different opinion of fitness. What I ment with the whole manual labor thing is that the kids nowdays look down on people with manual labor jobs and think that they are just lazy bastards who dont do anything with their lives.

About the gym thing, it used to be "manly" to be in shape and have some size to you. Now things have shifted so its cool to be skinny as hell and struggle to pick up a can of soup. Theres nothing wrong with running and being in shape, I run 2 miles 3 times a week. Men used to have to chase down wild animals to eat them so sit back, gnaw on some beef jerkey and feel manly about yourself. I dont lift for size I lift for strength, so i can hunt down wild mammoths and kill them with my bare hands...

^^^ That's a fucked up picture. but it makes me laugh.

Anyways, I disagree with a lot of the details you used. I think we should at least attempt to look good for ladies. They certainly put in effort for us. It's only fair. Plus I feel better when I think I look good. I like getting looks from girls. Why are you too lazy to keep yourself up? Another thing, I certainly havent noticed any decline of women who like muscles. There are women who are into all kinds of things. Some like em skinny, some like em strong, some like em tall, some like em short. Stop complaining about everyone else because it's none of your business. It sounds like you're more upset at the women for not liking you better than the skiny guys.

Can we say "sexual frustration". Take a minute and think about what you're thinking. Why are you so unhappy? Does this stem from your early childhood? Why can't you just be happy with yourself and let everyone else do what they want?

Nothing wrong with dress codes either, keeps a lot of fuckwits out. You don't need to be a unshaved dirty monkey to be a man.

Slightly on topic: LOL at two asian guys at the gym the other day. Dressed like they're going out into town, one wearing a stupid cap/hat thing, and doing 4kg hammer curls (8 lbs?) and bench pressing with JUST the bar.

Well, referring to the "Could you hit a gilr" thread, I was joking incase nobody realized. Nothing wrong with wearing a pink T-shirt. I wear one sometimes. If I have time, I'll spike my hair so that it looks nice and neat, otherwise I just leave it the way I got up. I wear any shirt on the top of my drawer, and pants that match. However, I do like shoes, like every girl. I believe that shoes shows your tastes. Picking between 5 pairs of running shoes, 3 pairs of dress shoes, 2 pairs of sandals and 2 pairs of boots is sometimes challenging. Need to shop for some shoes again, I have my eyes set on a pair of Adidas...

However, I admit, I seem to be one of the guys that act like a girl. I was overprotected by my mom and wasn't allowed to face the world until I was like 12, so practically I fell into my mom's footsteps rather than my dad's. I love new clothes, new shoes, and jewellery. However, I have to wear uniform at school so it doesn't really matter. Maybe I'm just the odd one out, but I really don't see a problem with it. I still get all the chicks.

first, I like bacardi raz, and smirnoff ras

I also sometimes like taking shots of Jack, smirnoff vodka *yes...the 80 proof, not the malt beverage*

I also like to wear collered shirts sometimes, and I use weight machines at my gym, it helps I go alone and thus dont have a spotter. I also use free weights for a few muscle groups.

I go to clubs with dress codes.

I have worked clearical jobs, and jobs with no hard work at all.

I had to knock into a woman and grab her arms, and take her down to restrain her as she was slaming her fists into my face.

I dont believe anyone should hit anyone without just cause. This dosent mean he called you a pussy ass, or some other name. This dosent mean he threatened you.

The part about context pretty well covers the rest of how I feel about that.

And I was an electrician for 6 months, I worked at UPS loading and unloading trucks all night for a year, and I worked in a blueprinting shop for a few years, which is more work than you would think. Especally when you do maintence as well as blueprinting/reprographics

See, problem I notice is, the girls go for the assholes, the controlling pricks who DO hit them. Ive helped girls get away from abusive assholes...they always just go right back. "Why wont he do it again?" I ask, responce

"Because he said he loves me" or "Because hes nice" or "HE WOULD NEVER DO THAT!!!, FUCK YOU FOR SAYING HE WOULD EVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT!"

so yah...maby its not because many guys have become more preppy, or cant break a sweat if their lives depended on it. But maby its because chivilary and honor and just being a good person has left this country.

In that if women are responding to men dressing like emo kids, then more men are going to dress like that.. for women.

woo.... never thought of that.
i mean, if all of the women dumb enough to think they can change a woman beater actually get their hands on a habitual woman beater, eventually, there'd be no no women like that....
and then the women beaters will have less chance of reproduction (rape not included....).

so, we will lose women beaters AND the women who accept it.

That makes sense except for one small problem. For fitness in the survival of the fittest context, it means reproduction, eg. your level of fitness is the ammount of babies your mates pop out. They might be able to get more girls at some point during their lives but there is one problem, most of them are gay so they wont ever reproduce...

anyways, a better description of emo, is this:

mostly black clothes, which are too small, and too tight.
long hair dyed black, never fixed, always messy.
some soft core black wrist bands. Not necessarily spikey ones, those are more goth.
maybe a black choker.
converse all stars.
pierced lip and eyebrow.

there you have it.

oh you have to be skinny too, and act like a little bitch.

emo is not hard core. emo is sensitive, afraid of the world style.

Everybody is against us style. Pale looking ,(all the ones I've seen) weird socks, etc.
oh, and a lot of the girls can pass for lesbians or look alikes.

Well then I hate you Rick, for wearing a beanie in the middle of summer. Lol jk, but it really drives me crazy seeing people wear them when it's not cold.

I wear converse all stars but for a different reason. They make really good driving shoes IMO.

ugh pink shirts are the gayest thing ever. Its not the new black and there is nothing cool about it. Today i was out shopping with my GF for some dress clothes for a new job im getting. Requires shirt and tie and such. Well i didnt have many outfits, 1 i think, i dont care to dress up. So im looking for a long sleeved shirt with a collar. She instantly finds a pink shirt and says you would look so good in this. Then i point out the obvious "my gay brother chris wears pink shirts". LOL the look on her face was priceless. Never said another thing about pink shirts.

This website will sum up everything you think or need to know. ALl though its retarded when it makes fun on michigan, michigan rewls!
