loud ac

I just bought a 2003 santa fe with 22k miles on it. Whenever i turn on the ac it seems that it is abnormally loud. i have never owned a hyundai and was just wondering if they are all loud.

find a similar santa with same motor and compare if yours is loud now you can complain to the dealer/corp.

Don't know if htis helps, but when I first got my Santa fe (used) the Ac seemed to make alot of noise and didn't blow very cold. It turned out it was a little low on freon. After the freon level was correct the ac noise was gone. Mine is a 2001 Santafe with the v6.
