so ive been trying to look for performance chips for my gsr, and i found these resistors on ebay and such that piggy backs onto your ecu and claim to get like 10-15 maybe even 20+ hp by leaning out your air/fuel ratio....anyone know anything about these?

all they do is make your ecu think the air coming in is colder. Or they add more memory to your ecu, so like a home cpu more memory the more faster it can think. I have one in my 92 LS, I have noticed I use more gas and maybe a little more power. I would say unless you know how to solder the chip in( which I know how to due to the fact I am a electronic tech In the navy) Then its worth the 20 bucks on ebay. TO pay for the chip and then pay some guy cash to do it for you isnt worth it.
P.s. JUst be warned it will over work your ignition coil in your distrubter, it blow mine in like a few days, due to the fact it was already old. BUt I though a new one in and its been runnning smooth for almost a year.
