my question is this. whenever we pull our 5th wheel or boat with the truck, it doesn't take long for the thing to like "clunk" as it switches gears. this is an automatic by the way. it NEVER does this when we are normal driving. my hubby usually unplugs battery and lets the puter reset whenever we arrive to our destination, as this seems to help a little, but doesn't fix the problem. what could this be, and what do we need to do to fix this? by the way, it is a f250, 4x4 heavy duty, 460. if u need anymore info, i'll reply too. thanks bunches

should not be clunking into gear, problem may be associated with wearing gears.
