I think I finally did it. I turned the lammest car ever made into a somewhat less lame car. A1994 Chevy Cavalier. The last of my family members cars. This one is my youngest sisters car. And again I figured I'd explore its potenial. C+C welcomed as always.

GirlBear you ride looks very nice, and you have serious talent. Are you taking art classes in school (not now I know it is summer)?

I never got comfortable to the combination of the hatching and dot shading, but everything else is great.

Have you ever heard of Scott Carter?

Started in CARtoons way back when. Your work reminds me of him. He's top notch as are you.

Great design work, and I think your style is also like Dave "Henry Hirise" Bell's CAR-toons.
He uses a lot of hatching and cross-hatching with his India ink on paper designs.

Here's an example I found:

[QUOTE=GirlBear] I turned the lammest car ever made into a somewhat less lame car. A1994 Chevy Cavalier.

Looks good as usual. But you are so off base about the "lammest car." That distinction has to go th the Pontiac Aztec. They had to give the designers a Pontiac grill and tell them, "design the fuggliest, ugliest, body you can imagine." If this was the case they succeded with flying colors. A sherman tank has more style. Sorry if any of you folks have one, but when I see one going down the road, I can't help but wonder what the owners were thinking when the bought it. :screwy: If I won one I'd trade it the next day and get someone else to drive it to the trade.

Anyone wants a real styling challenge fix that monstrosity. I just can't think that far out of the box.

By any other name the Aztec is still lammer and uglier. :grinno:

Making it look good. That would make a tough challange for a contest. Probably an impossible challange.
