Noise at boost?

Ok i just switched cars from my Tsi now i have a 91 gst, supra sidemount,greddy B/C, hardpiping, 3 in turbo back, and a greddy type s. my question is that when im running at about 15 psi. i hear a high pitched whistle. kinda like the BOV is partially opening up. Would it just be out of addjustemnt? And could anybody give me some tips on adjusting it?

have you done a boost leak test?

is ur boost controller hooked up right, mine started doing that when my boost controller wasnt put on the right way. sort of a high pitched, deeper whistle when the boost got high.

Not sure i thought it was hooked up right because it never gave me problems. I dont have any diagrams in how its supposed to be though, could n e bod be a nice guy and draw me up a quick one? thanx

go to www.vfaq.com they have tons of info for hooking up lots of stuff... they do have a diagram and instruction for hookin up a MBC.

Did it do that before the hardpiping(intake?)?? If not its just because of your hard pipe, you can hear the turbo spooling more especially if u have the stock T25.

This is very true. Once I put my 3 inch intake on,the spool was much louder. Leaks happen all the time and probably are happening now, if you can, test it or just be a great listener. For example find out what direction its coming from such as...exhaust manifold, downpipe,intake, etc. My DP is leaking air right now but I just gotta wait til i get around to it($). Good luck!

No it was there b 4 hardpiping. I still feel pull all the way through though.
