I could have done better for you... The ones they show, are Warm air intakes or short-ram. This is a CAI i stand behind.

Stainless steel and the ones listed on their page are aluminuim.

hey CRJ would a wai with a hood scoop right over the filter act better then a cold air ?

CRJ, you should know that there's not really a difference between CAI and WAI due to the fact that the CAI has to make more bends and costs throttle response with the benefit of colder air. WAI gains you throttle response at the cast of warmer air.

Also, why WOULDN'T someone prefer aluminum over stainless steel? Lighter and dissipates heat better.

Finally, the JBP "cold" air intake isn't even pushing $100 whereas the RDFabs is way more. You'd probably wind up with very similar numbers, and with the JBP Intake you'd get the lovely joy of being able to buy lunch.

Just my $0.02

To everyone...

Looks like a warm air intake for one to me thus its only costing 96 bucks. Our short ram is only $90. The link i provided was for the cold air intake which goes down into the fender well, thus costing more for more material. The short ram would look almost the same just without the CAI extension after the coupler. Why stainless? Well aluminum oxidizes pretty darn quick and looses its shine within a year or less and also it conducts heat faster. Also it may be lighter and what have you, buts its not the strongest thing in the world. If you accidently drop it, or some how drop somthing on it, you'll have a nice little dent there. Stainless steel on the other hand, what we sell is 16 gauge t-304 grade SS. Which is THE best you can get. It will not loose its sheen when polished, and i have driven through a NY winter and still looks brand new. As for the CAI or WAI, its up to whatever you want, i really didn't want an intake cone in my engine bay and i noticed a slight increase of power in the higher RPM band. So to me it was worth it.

i was gona go with the intake u are talking about but then i saw that the pipe comeing from the fender is smaller then the pipe that goes to the trolle body, which would be stuipd. + can't go wrong with 96 bocks and its made for my car not some ebay knock off.

Its reduced from 3" to 2.5" to fit through the fender wall other wise it won't fit. AEM and INJEN have the same design for the CAI to accomodate the hole in the fender... Besides if your calling our product e-bay quailty, i'm affraid you don't have any clue what the hell you are talking about and should keep your mouth shut other wise.

i know what ebays stuff is its crap all i am saying is that if ur intake was less i would go with it....but that 2.5 to 3.0 turn me away.

It has to be done, unless one wants to either cut the hole bigger or not have a functional windsheild washer resovoir. But either way, i'm sure you'll like the one you are recieving from JBP.
