I own a 1998 ZX2 and from whaty I've herd the car puts ouit about 135hp but thanks to it's light weight it still feels peppy, i was hoping to get the car up to about 160 or 170hp without spending a pile of money the car has enough power low down for my daily driving so I'm looking mostly for an increase in the top end of the rev range, what would be the best way to get an extra 25 to 35hp I also have some experince working on cars myself (changed steering racks drive axles brakes) so it would be much appricated if you could list the modifications and how easy they are to install, Thanks for your time

ya its a 5spd, i wouldn't get this car in an auto lol also i should note that I don't want it to be a ricer, aka bumblebee exhaust, i want faster and i want it to sound a bit meaner, butr i would also like it to be a bit of a sleeper (16" rims are the only exterior mod)and since i go to the local dragstrip allot more than i try to kill myself by driving off the road on sharp corners (we RARELY have anything for racing thats not a dirt oval lol) i would prefer power over handling well thaks for the advice

does anyone know how well this engine responds to modifications, does it do as well as the Bseries Honda motor, or does it respond more like the Probe GT (like not respond lol) and which header/exhaust combo would be good for power and keeping it quiet, i just got the weapon air intake and quite enjoy the quicker responce of the motor, and i do feel a bit more power, but it's not huge lol, after the next few paycheques i'll be doing the heder, also does any company have cams (like a hot street cam, one that hurts low end with the advantage of more top end) with dyno charts on the internet, ive done some looking, but i havent found any dyno charts, and when buying a cam i'd like to see specificly where and how much the gains are, thanks for your help
