rust on MAC chromed tailpipes?

I want to purchase a MAC cat-back system but while i was surfing the internet some people are having problems with them rusting...anyone having this problem? if its just rust on the inside i can live with that but on the outside thats an other story

If they aren't stainless steel(or polished aluminum) then they will rust.

Mine don't have rust. Love the sound though!

I had my Mac chrome tailpipes on for about 2 years and I washed the car every couple of weeks and made sure to wash the tailpipes and never had a spec of rust and I drove this through 2 New England winters everyday.

I only got some minor rust on where the hanger was welded to the pipe after I blew the motor and just let the pipes sit on the car for 2 years outside and even then it was just a lil rust.

I have them on and they didn't have any rust as of 2 months ago, I don't think there is any on there now.

i went with the polished stainless and i have no probs.

ive had my tailpipes on for a while, they began to rust but polished and cleaned right up.
