Drift Spin Turn Knob...

How the hell do I get the old spring out?? I got the spring disengaged, but I cannot figure out how to remove it. Also, does the spin turn knob just slide over my existing button, or does it take its place? If it takes its place, then how do I get the original button off? Thanks.

only thing I dont like about it is when soemone tries to push it out the always fling it out and it hits my windshield lol
